Refund & cancellation

These rules apply to paid DataInfra Hub assessments, reconciliations, workshops, and quarterly reviews. They do not cover products we do not sell, such as software licences or physical goods.
Eligibility
Refunds depend on how far the engagement has progressed and whether a deposit or milestone payment was collected under a written quote.
Timeframe to request
Send refund or cancellation requests in writing to contact@datainfrahub.digital as soon as possible. For workshops, notify us at least 5 business days before the first scheduled session to be eligible for a full fee refund of unused prepaid amounts, minus any non-recoverable facilitation costs already incurred.
Full refund
If we cancel an engagement before substantive work begins, prepaid fees are refunded in full. If you cancel before scope lock and before we have performed billable preparation, prepaid fees are refunded in full.
Partial refund
After scope lock, fees for completed stages (intake, sampling, workshops already held, findings already delivered) are non-refundable. Unused future stages may be refunded proportionally at our discretion when cancellation is for reasons outside your control.
Non-refundable items
- Completed findings packs and delivered workshop facilitation
- Deposits marked non-refundable in the quote once substantive preparation has started
- Third-party room hire or travel booked at your request after you approved the cost
Deposits
Multi-week assessments may require a deposit to reserve calendar time. The quote states whether the deposit is credited to the final invoice and under which conditions it is forfeited.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule workshop dates once without charge if you give at least 3 business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee reflecting facilitator time already blocked.
No-shows
If client attendees miss a confirmed session without timely notice, that session is treated as delivered for billing purposes.
Work already started
Once sampling or document review has begun, fees for time spent are due even if you pause the project. We will provide a status summary of work completed to date.
Refund process & timing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Bank processing times may add several days.
Quarterly reviews
Prepaid quarterly cycles cancelled before the scheduled retest window may be refunded for that cycle. Cycles already in progress are charged.
